dunno something looks off in the movie as in even the actors looks all cgi or just pasted over the top of a green screen the entire movie

also movie is too long to sustain constant interest

They should have just stopped it at Infinity War.

All the time travel stuff was lame nonsensical filler and that was at least half the movid

When the cgi girl explained the time line problem on top of the cgi building with the cgi background was when I switched it off

I've got to admit, now that the Thanos saga is over, I don't really have a lot of interest in the upcoming movies like I had up until Endgame. Maybe Dr. Strange and Spider-Man.

But overall, I think Endgame will be where I stop following the MCU consistently.

Black Panther 2 is the most interesting one left.

Dr. Strange is boring.

Sony took their Spider-Man ball and went home.

Eternals meh, Shang-Chi meh, Black Widow shoulda been done years ago, Captain Marvel 2 meh

Blade is coming.

Thor 4, depends on how Lady Thor is handled but I don't have high hopes.

BP2 and Guardians 3 will be holding the MCU up until X-Men and FF make their debut.

I think seeing movies with lots of CGI are great in theaters and you hardly notice the bunky effects at that scale, but when it's on a smaller screen closer to your face, it sticks out like a sore thumb on Christmas.

I was re watching LOTR after Netflix put them up and they hold up pretty damn well, but some scenes are hilariously bad now and jar you right out of the scene. The Ents are p bad, but Minas Tirith and all that looks hilariously cheap now. Oh well, the movies were damn near perfect 15 years ago.

One thing about LOTR that I miss nowadays is just the amount of scenes where they hardly use ANY CGI. Actual sets and costumes and Orcs in full makeup is such a nice thing that has completely ben abandoned with CGI in the past 10 years. The last 2 Jurassic World movies are so fucking bad because they refused to do the hard things that made the movies even possible in the first place. Sets and robotics and dirt and real trees and waterfalls. Showing you an amazing world with things you can touch, not a CGI fest.

Yeah I was watching it on a big OLED screen and the cgi was distracted

Im mean at this point the only real human is the human head they cgi on top of a cgi body

you guys are probably watching it with automotion turned on your tv, it enhances the refresh rate and makes movies look 60 fps when its not

I don't think anyone is debating that. A 50 ft screen is too big for the eyes to notice smaller details at a fast pace. Doesn't excuse the movie to be shitty when you bring it home.

Do movie screens actually compare to say an OLED with its deep blacks and contrast?

Id have to switch to movie settings in the OLED to see if it doesnt any good
