29 y/o Self Employed Personal Trainer, Nina Hoffler made good on her word and promised to marry her childhood crush if she didn't meet or marry anyone in 10 years...and she did just that even though he was serving a 23 YEAR PRISON SENTENCE!!

The Phoenix, Arizona girl married Michael a decade later in the big house as their love affair blossomed while he was behind bars

She met him in October 2006 through friends at a fast food parking lot when they were 16 and 17..and he would soon be arrested for ARMED ROBBERY

Michael was imprisoned for it in North Carolina and their relationship was supposedly doomed to fail as he was sentenced for a long time..but she's STILL going to stay with him because she made a PROMISE!!

Michael's story quickly spread the front pages in the small town and although he was the youngest out of the group, he was given the harshest sentence as he was tried as an adult

During the first 3 years of his sentence, their relationship blossomed and Nina knew she was in love despite fears of judgement

It wasn't until 2012 that they kissed for the first time during an in person prison visit and couldn't resist his beautiful "blue eyes"

He proposed on June 4, 2016 and tied the knot in Ironwood State Prison on January 6, 2017..

She said "I met Michael on the streets through mutual friends when we were teens. It was a get together at a Wendy's parking lot,a lthough he swears it was a Taco Bell. in that very instant that i met him i thought he was the most handsome man i'd ever seen. He seemed incredibly guarded and super mysterious as if he had so much going on inside his head.I remember asking 'what's going on with you?' and his friend chimed in to say he's going through it right now and just found out he might be getting locked up for a few years and without skipping a beat, i looked at him and said i'll write to you. Michael was trying to get money together to pay for a lawyer to support his case on an assault charge and a few weeks later he was involved in an armed robbery in 2006"

Because it happened in a small town, his name was plastered everywhere when he was busted and tried as an adult at 17 and received a mandatory minimum gun enhancement and the longest sentence having been given 28 years in total.

When she found out, she took out a piece of pen and paper and stuck to her promise that she would write to him and if she didn't meet anyone else, they would get married

She said she still couldn't get her mind off of him as he went away and had to be honest with her true feelings of him and didn't care what people thought because he was so "irresistable"

Being married allows her to have conjugal visits up to 48 hours where they can totally be alone..and have WEEKLY SEX in a cell

In 2014, a new law passed that allows youth offenders to have their sentence examiend after their 15th year and he is now on year 13 as they wait patiently for his hearing as they are optimistic

She's excited about the prospect of him leaving prison one day which is hopefully sooner than later as she's in it for the long haul as she maintains she will ALWAYS be there for him forever and always

Do you think she cheated on him in those 10 years?
