Back in the day I started this project where I would try to beat a game every day. It was mostly SNES and NES titles. I'm thinking of doing it again for the month of october.

1. Think I should do this, because I think I'll enjoy it, and won't burn out if I only do it for a month or so.

2. Please Recommend games that can easily be beaten in a few hours. I share games with friends, and I have access to Switch, PS4, SNES, Genesis, PS1 PS2 and a pretty powerful pc. Bonus points if it's something obscure, but good, as there's a much higher chance I haven't played it. Edit: Oh, and please tell me what system it's on.

Any Resident Evil game. Wolfenstein New Order and Old Blood. Both Wolfenstein games will take you almost 24 hours each to 100%.

I'm right, as expected.

Its a side scroller action game, decent story and visuals, and one of those games where pretty much anything will kill you in one hit, but if you die you just restart at the previous screen and if I remember right theres no limit on the number of lives you have

How many hours WITh the cutscenes? and yeah, MGS1-3, and 5 certainly are something to consider.

I am not sure, maybe triple that at the very least.

Yeah, 12 hours or less are probably what I'm looking for, so it that's the case, then maybe. I can beat MGS1 in under 12 hours, and that's with cutscenes.

Dragster (2600) takes less than 10 seconds.
Strintmaster (2600) can take about 5 seconds if you run a 1-lap race on the oval track.

Several other Atari 2600 games take well under an hour to get the best score possible, i.e. a perfect run (Sky Diver and Human Cannonball to name a couple); or just to complete the course, such as Barnstormer.

Baseball Stars (NES) -- you could do a short season and knock it out in a couple hours.

Other sports games with no season mode, so you'd just have to beat the CPU in a single game/match.

I looked int this game on howlongtobeat, 4hours is if you SPEEDRUN IT I'm not a speedrunner, I'm just someone who can focus on a game really well a lot of the time if I put my mind to it, and move through the game a lot faster than I would otherwise.

If he's going to play Atari games in that case give Pitfall a shot. I loved that game as a kid, super fun now in fact.

Ok, since so many of you are so insistant on Atari and NES, I'll be more direct.

I mean this in the nicest way possible. They don't interest me. I'd really appreciate it if you didn't recommend any more, and instead would re-read the intro post, because you're really putting me off from this project.

@Mad_Max It looks like NES isn't one of the systems he has access to. At least, not anymore, it seems...

For TC, maybe Rogue Legacy. Technically, it can be beaten pretty fast if you're good enough.

Also, same goes for Crypt of the NecroDancer. Though it depends on what you consider beating it.

Both are for PC and Switch. Though I recommend Switch for both...

They posted on more than one board, they probably have plenty. I saw a Switch topic yesterday as well.

Here's a kinda "obscure" one for'ya :

"Operation Logic Bomb: The Ultimate Search & Destroy".

Fun game for the SNES, but it gets quite challenging towards the last stage if you haven't been careful with your lives..
