21 y/o Douglas Usgaard from Iowa was arrested in a HORRIFIC killing after he used an AXE to HACK his elderly relative's LABRADOODLE and SHIH TZU to death!!

He was busted after killing a 14 y/o Labradoodle named Trina and 13 y/o Shi Tzu-bichon mix named Maz.

He was staying with relatives at the time as it's unclear what drove him over the edge in this horrific heinous attack as he was arraigned on 2 counts of animal torture and remains in jail

He was already on bond for stealing 2 IPHONES from a football stadium

Douglas is now held without bail because of the attacks and he violated the terms of his probation froma previous crime

In 2015 he was arrested for a DUI and was HIGH on MARIJUANA and other drugs

Officers made the horrific discovery of the small dogs as they were hacked into PIECES and UNRECOGNIZABLE and the relatives were very distraught over the finding the remains..

Do you think this kind of killing leads to people ending up as REAL MURDERERS??

Probably yes, but not a "fuck yes".

"Lead to", perhaps not. Rather, if he's capable of something like that, then odds are he's capable of just about anything, including being a threat to people. Considering his past incidents, he's obviously a troubled individual. If he's to have any hope of a healthy and productive future, there needs an intervention ASAP, or failing that, he needs to be removed from society as a matter of public safety.

This guy's only 21 and already has endangered lives w/ a DUI, stolen property, and then violated his parole to brutally murder some defenseless animals.

Fucking lock him up the rest of his life, he's not gonna "improve," and the rest of society shouldn't have to be his petri dish to see if he can or not.

Lock him up for a long time. We don't need another Bundy.

That would be the fastest and cheapest way to solve the problem, but unfortunately society doesn't have the guts for that. Some ridiculous nonsense about the inherent value of human life or some junk. If anything, the inherent value of human life is negative, and people need to strive to turn that around to give their lives meaning, and for someone with that much under his belt, he'd need a lot of help to have any chance of that.

and they were elderly dogs too over 10 years old. they probably were quite loved and attached in their family. killing someone's pets is one of the worst things you can do in my book.

and the breeds he chose to kill shows he is a coward. how about he try attacking a fucking German Shepard or Doberman or something? fuck this guy
