It's awful and shouldn't be supported. Imagine if someone accused you of rape or something awful and nobody listened to your side of the story but went with the supposed "victim" because they seem to be the "victim".

Now imagine your an actual victim of rape and we know it because people witnessed the rape and intervened. Now imagine that your rapist serves no consequences because he is a nice white boy from a good family who goes to a good school.

Except there is no need to imagine it because thats actually what happened to Brock Turner and his victim.
