I have both, and while I appreciate the convenience of my natural gas grill, I do love using charcoal. The whole process (getting the bag of charcoal out, using a chimney, spreading the charcoal out, putting wood chips, etc.) just feels more "raw", and feels more like an experience vs. "just cooking". It also ends up tasting better, with a lot more smokey/charcoal taste than using gas.

Agreed. When I'm lazy, and I want to be outside, I use the natural gas grill; but for parties, I always whip out my Weber charcoal grill.
