Three amazing turn based games I've played this year.

One about advance wars mechs defend the cities from bug invasion.

One a roguelite fantasy card based rpg with amazing art and intuitive designs.

Finally a grim dark rpg fantasy with a lot of different mechanics including sanity and permadeath.

Its all dependent on how good you are at the game.

The quicker you learn the easier you could complete all four islands and the finale.

Most of the playability comes from the inherent fun and strategic nature of the game and unlocking all of the additional eight squads the game offers.

I got thirty-five hours out of the game but I am often a low-baller when it comes to video games, with even most of my favorite games of all time maxing out at 60 hours (fallout 3, dark souls). Admittedly I could still play some more, I just did not want that good feeling from playing a really fun game to hold out for possibly some dlc.

I've only played Slay the Spire but I highly recommend it.

I'll also recommend Dicey Dungeons (PC) and Buriedbornes (Android) if you like those kinds of games.

I love love love Into the Breach. Have not played the other two, but hear great things about Slay the Spire.

I have Into the Breach on my Nintendo Switch never gotten around to playing it though and I have the physical version of Slay the Spire reserved for the Switch.
