would be nice. it's too bad their brains don't connect throwing up as being similar to going to the bathroom

My friend said when his cat shat on the floor his dad rubbed its nose in it so it wouldnt do it again, you could do the same with the vomit.

Outside would be better. I'd imagine with the litter box, you would still have to see the vomit (eventually).

Extremely mean and teaches the cat nothing. They just get confused and scared and emotionally hurt.

Yeah, I'd be happy if I could just get the cat to stop running for carpet. Almost the entire house has wood or tile floors and yet he somehow always manages to get to one of the few pieces of carpet to barf.

At this point I've realized the best course of action is to put something under puking cat that you can clean or toss easily. Doesn't work if cat is home alone
