I loved coven. I dropped it at Freak Show years ago when that was the newest season on Netflix, and finally finished it up last week.

I didn't mind Coven but it isn't as good as Murder House or Asylum. The three student witches made it feel like a high school drama or something. Loved the shit with Marie LaVeau and Delphine LaLaurie though. I wish they leaned a bit harder on the Satanic imagery though, because Coven's intro is fucking awesome.

Coven is when it just went crazy with multiple plotlines. Like...why was Patty Lupone in that season? Why was so much time devoted to her and her son? Why did the Minotaur exist and why did Precious decide to fuck it? Why spend so much time developing Fiona's relationship with the Axeman only to go lol no she didn't love him at all?
And then there was just some dumb stuff. Like Marie Laveau's specially designed hell was torturing Delphine's daughter. Did the writers forget she was the one that killed the bitch in the first place? Or when Madison can't be the Supreme because she has a heart defect, but then it turns out becoming the Supreme completely heals you.
