It's a good idea to take precautions yes and you should try to do it, but it's literally not the victim's fault this happened to them. They didn't ask to be roofied, they were just an easy target for a bad person, but the fault still lies with the other person. It's never your fault a bad person harmed you unless you asked them too. The problem is the shift of responsibility.
