It's dumb clickbait.

Still, it's weird to want more of this in Tolkien stuff. Many of the female characters he has created have been some of the most powerful characters in his world. There is kind of is a "matrilineal world where the magical powerhouses are women". Galadriel, Luthien, Melian, Varda, etc.

I have no problems with powerful females, but why genderbender Gandalf when it already exist powerful females in Middle-Earth?
Use one of them, create a new character or skip the whole LotR settings.

The Valar, who are just big maia, create gender based couplings. The maia Melian very much take on a female mother role in coupling with the elf king Thingol.

I think the maia Ulmo has a maia wife as well, but I cant remember the name.
