I have it on PC so can mod it but I thought it was mostly just fun online. I never really heard anyone talk about the single player

Steal a jet from Fort Zancudo and fly up as high as you can. Level yourself out and reverse until the jet shuts off. Finally hold the left stick either left or right until you start spinning.

As you plummet to the ground rapidly with the screen quickly spinning see how close you can get to the ground before impact. Start the jet back up, level out, and pull up before you hit.

I enjoyed it more than any of the previous gtas, mostly because you could switch between characters. Get bored with one, switch over to another.

Switching over to Trevor was the best.

@ OP: The story is fun to play through, especially if you play it in first person view, it's a completely different experience. But it lacks some of the oomph! that previous GTA titles had when it comes to just screwing around. A lot of the mechanics are just dead in the water, like most of the businesses you can buy aren't worth it and some of them are a slow drawn out pain in the ass, like recovering nuclear material in your minisub.

You're also strapped for cash for a good portion of the game, and there are good cash making opportunities from the few Assassination missions, but maximizing your profit across all three characters there requires you either spoiling it for yourself and looking at a guide, or playing through the game once and then replaying it -_-

what an odd question. GTAV is only singleplayer. GTAO is basically treated as a separate game. had a different release date and everything.

that being said, yes, GTAV is a great game.

Not really an odd question since GTA Online *is* the online component of GTA 5...

I only played it for a few hours. I thought about trying it on PC again since RDR2 coming out on PC made me think of it.

How edgy Trevor? He was fine in the prologue.i forgot gtav has auto drive. Guess I know what I'll try at work then

A lot of people have something against GTAV single player and I'll never understand why. It's basically GTAIV with a better map, better driving, and more fun characters

They made it more handholdy. Like, it's impossible to destroy cars by flipping them over. And they got rid of some of the realism of GTA4, like being able to chop a helicopter in half with your own helicopter, and the way the enemies act now.

And not gonna lie I forgot most of the story of GTA4, but GTA5's story was equally unforgettable. The main highlights of it were the heists and some of the side missions.

First person view was a massive game changer though.

Yeah Franklin was probably my favourite from the short time I played.

The game still keeps track of all the side stuff right? Since I'll try 100%.

Please also tell me there's a jet with guns and missiles

I enjoyed 5's story mode very much, but it's more of a spy/mercenary game than a crime game for a lot of it. I prefer IV's story and characters. I feel they over-corrected a lot of 4's flaws (like the missions being too similar and basic) in 5. It got way to over the top for me sometimes.
