I have the Steam "N Sane Trilogy"

Seems easier than I remember

What happens if you get a game over? I'm getting a lot of lives now, but I imagine it gets tough and they're depleted

I loved the intense difficulty of Crash 1 105%. I could feel myself vastly improving after hours spent going after the coloured gems and relics, then finally Stormy Ascent. Crash 3 felt too easy but it was still enjoyable. Crash 2 felt about right, though some of the relics were very difficult.

The remakes harder because its way to slipper and the physics are off

But easier because gems are easier, so that might make it easier overall, but the broken physics were frustrating

its really not much harder than the originals. there is just a lot you have to do to 100% them. that's where the difficulty comes in. it forces you to take different routes (which are harder) and doesn't allow you to avoid some enemies, etc, if you want every box and gem.

I haven't been having too many problems with Crash 1. I'm already up to the Pinstripe Potoroo boss and stocked up at 99 lives.

Granted I still haven't played a few of the hardest levels yet (like The High Road) so we'll have to see if that changes for me.

yes. part of the game is going back to old levels to collect gems and what not.
