I'm only up to 7 so far

My rough order best to worst

4 > 2 > 6 > 1 > 7 > 3 > 5

3 had some sick kills

7 was weird but surprisingly good, plus Kane Hodder!

After 4 they just stopped caring about any story

I watched it once when I was 11, remember thinking it was stale cause you don't even see anyone get killed. At the end tho my sister brought me a grilled cheese sandwich, and just when I was about to eat Jason pops out of the lake all bloody and slimy and I didn't wanna eat my grilled cheese no more...

It's been awhile tbh, maybe I just thought they were stale cause I had been watching the sequels and Freddy Krueger movies since I was 6 already.

It was a ploy by the show's producer I think. It was originally supposed to be called "The 13th Hour" but he changed it to "Friday the 13th: The Series" to try and get more movie fans on board. Which is a shame, since they have almost nothing in common. One of the main actors from the first 2 seasons was in Jason Takes Manhattan but that's about it.

I think I remember that show. Like, I don't think I watched much. But saw a little of it...

It's pretty good if you can ignore the cheesy effects and embrace the campiness.
The best part about it was the chemistry of the 3 main cast members Jack, Mick, & Ryan. After season 2 they get another guy to replace Ryan and it wasn't nearly as good.

That show was really graphic for its time. Some of the stuff they had was pretty disgusting and gory- Again, looking through the lens of late 80s TV. Some favorites were a radio in an insane asylum that told you what you were going to die from and then made it happen, an amish quilt that suffocated people, a glove that can heal the sick but you have to touch someone and kill them with it first (this episode is really gross lol), a scarecrow that goes around beheading people, etc. Good stuff.
