I was home schooled from 5th through 8th grade, so when I came to public high school I was kinda awkward and didn't really hang out with friends or go on dates much. I didn't really start to party until the 12th grade and then college was a whole nother story all together, but from like the 9th through most of the 11th grade I didn't really do much socially. I lost my v card in the 12th grade but didn't have much of a dating life until college.

But like when I was younger my parents would FREAK OUT because I didn't do anything on the weekends or have a girlfriend.

Now as an adult, if I don't hang out with friends for weeks or even months no one cares. No one cares if I have a girlfriend or not either.

Like seriously a lot of the time I just chill and post on CE or Reddit or other websites, I also don't really enjoy meaningless sex anymore so I don't really date a lot. Last real date I was on was like early 2018 now that I think about it.

What's the deal? Why am I allowed to spend my days off lurking on gamefaqs in my room, but I wasn't allowed to do this as a 14 year old?

Kids without social lives shoot up schools. It's legitimate cause for concern.
