My wife's brother apparently bought us one and mailed it to us, I had no idea it was coming. He struggled with employment and keeping his life together for a few years, and we helped him out along the way financially and let him crash at our place for a few weeks at a time. We never asked for anything to be paid back or anything, it's family and it wasn't without effort on his end, he just had a stretch of bad luck.
He finally got a good management job about 8 months ago, got back on his feet, got his own place, and now this comes today. It was a nice gesture. With that said, this is the first Nintendo console i've owned since the first Wii. I'm pretty much sold on Breath of the Wild and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, what else is worth checking out and what should we be looking forward to? --- Ten million dollars on a losing campaign, Twenty million starving and writhing in pain. Do you own a PS4 or Xbox? If you arent against 3rd party games Diablo 3 and Cuphead are great games on the go.

I was in the close to same boat, I hadn't owned a nintendo console since the gamecube and I'm pretty pleased with it. All of the large named first party games on the switch have been great. Definitely pick up Mario Odyssey, Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8.
I would pay for a year of online, its insanely cheap and you gain instant access to a pretty good library of NES and SNES games. Third Party is iffy. There's good stuff but it depends on the genres you're into. Give the store a look and try to wade through all the indie junk that clogs it up --- butts ... Copied to Clipboard!
