My first guess was Redskins back-up, but I had completely forgotten his last season with the Bears. If not for reading wikipedia, I would have completely forgotten he played in the NFC Championship game that year. Before having my memory jogged, I would have probably sworn Hanie immediately replaced Cutler in the second half of that game.

Patriots trade for Mohammed Sanu. They are giving a second which seems high although I guess it will virtually be a 3rd

If it wasn't mentioned already Texans traded a 3rd for CB Gareon Conley too

Doesn't seem like a good deal unless you have great RB depth and have some combination of worry Jones is going to get injured for some reason and you really need to win the upcoming week's game for some reason since the Pats get to play Baker Mayfield.

I imagine they'll still be decent going forward, but so far they've played the bottom 3 teams in points per game for 4 of their games (played the Jets twice), and all 7 game have been against the 17th (Bills who are somewhere in the bottom 10 in points scored), 24th, 28th, 29th, 31st, and 32nd (Jets twice) ranked offenses.

It's not going to get easier than that for the remainder of the season.

They do get to play the Browns, Bengals, and Bills again going forward, but assuming your league doesn't run through Week 17, you wouldn't benefit from the Dolphins rematch.

I think his most impressive year outside of those was his 2011 season when he had Gronk and Hernandez carving up the league, if Bernard Pollard did not intentionally injure Gronk in the AFCCG then they would have dropped 50 on the Giants in that SB, like if you just plug in PEDelman from the past few years into that team in place of Stonehands Welker they would have won that year

That makes my WR1 (Adams), WR2 (Juju) and WR3 (Gordon) that have basically hard busted this year in my work league. Could argue my WR4 (Anderson) as well, but that's as much his QB situation as anything else and he'll break out big in the coming weeks i hope

Yeah, I just dropped DeSean Jackson this week because I got tired of waiting for him to get healthy, and now I'm done with Gordon, too.

My normal starting lineup is pretty solid (and I've had good luck with them staying healthy so far), but my bench is getting thin.

I started Cole Beasley and Robby Anderson as my WRs last week in that league with Adams, Gordon and Tyrell Williams hurt/Juju on bye. That's how fucked it was.

I grabbed Corey Davis as the replacement but fuck if I know what to do with him. Probably beats grabbing a Cohen or a Darrel Williams for RB depth. Maybe could take a flyer on a Jaylen Samuels or Tony Pollard (unsure why neither is rostered, but it's not like I have room for them on my bench with all these injured WRs I'm trying to keep a hold of either so LOL)

Brees owner in my league is literally holding three QBs (Cousins, who he drafted, and Kyle Allen, who he picked up after Cam got hurt)

I'm also playing him this week so now I gotta brace for the Brees/Thomas stack I guess.

On the bright side, his only TE is on bye and the best waiver option is probably uhhh McDonald (or Cook if he plays), so that's something I guess

I'm holding three QBs this week because I didn't realize Dak and Lamar have the same bye week, but fortunately Cousins was available and they're playing the Redskins this week.

Which means we're either going to get really good Kirk or really bad Kirk. There's no in between.

Incidentally, the Mahomes owner is currently holding three QBs because his second is Dak.

But there's really no excuse for holding both Allen and Cousins in this guy's situation tbqh. Especially since the only week he actually played Allen was the one in which Allen put up a whole 3.28 points

(I am also literally the only one in that league not holding two QBs, though one guy has Brady and is using his IR slot to stash Newton instead of using an actual bench spot on a second QB)

this is the reason Belichick is refusing to add to the OL, he's trying to get Brady killed out there and tank this season so he can draft a QB next year but he coached his D too well and they are dominating against his wishes

Best defense only because they've played 7 creampuffs maybe. No offense, i'm sure the pats defense is fine, maybe even pretty good, but the only reason they're doing so well in the metrics is their competition.
