I'm doing my final rounds of finishing up Yokai Folklore which I have been doing for the past couple years on and off, but what is stopping me is the names in red which I haven't been able to locate or get a accurate romanization name on some of them. (one example is Aka-shagma? Doesn't sound right to me)

I managed to track some of them, but not all of them.

You all don't have to help me, but any help is appreciated just to cut down my time on this.

One example of a obscure red entry (which I don't know is translated correctly):

Akaishi/Akaishisama - A monster in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, I can't find references of this outside of this wikipedia and I'm wondering if the name itself could be in-correct.

They have the reading next to them.

(akashisama), you might find more info on this by searching it as , the reading is the same though.
(akatendori), I seem to find more info on this one by searching it as
(akan)
(akanyd)
(akahachi)
(akujo nokaze), I've seen this one referred to as just (nokaze) as well.
(akudopokkari)
(akubaba)
(azehashiri)
(afirmajimun), this one seems to be a type of majimun, so you might have more luck looking for just (majimun).
(aputoruyamupewenyuku)
(awashikioto)
(anbasama)

If you're searching for info in Japanese maybe try to add the word (ykai) to your google searches along with the name so it brings up more relevant results.

I can help you with all things related to the Japanese language, but I'm not that well-versed in things related specifically to although I have to admit I find the topic quite interesting.

So far I understood a few of them, some turned out to be a Yokai I already had in the database and a few of them looks like were linked wrongly on that list that shouldn't be on that list. (Though I guess the Japanese Wikipedia can't be wrong if natives are writing this list). There was also the issue I saw seeing a few Kami types being listed as well (though they're Yokai themselves, but that wasn't my main focus yet per-say).

Fun fact from one interpretation - Yokai are non-worshipped Kami, and Kami are worshipped Yokai. (Aratama vs Nigitama as another way to look at it).

I located Akashisama from a very obscure Japanese Blogger which in turn helped me locate the rest, seems like he was a big fan of Shigeru Mizuki and has his own large database of Yokai. He has way more information on the local ones besides the ones known world-wide, and it is going to take me a good chunk of time to go through each one he has listed.

I've gotten this far, so I might as well sprint to the finish line and start working on the Kami next. This has surprisingly helped me understand a few Japanese words in pronunciation, and a few other things.

(akanyd)

This one turned out to be linked to a actual person which was his nickname in history, I think possibly he was confused for a yokai.

Though it doesn't explain coming out of a kotatsu, so it just adds a bit of frustration if there was another akanyudo.
