Actually kibble is far better for your dogs teeth. Soft foods cause a lot of dental problems like gum disease as it sticks to the teeth. My pup is 13 yo and has all her teeth in perfect condition.

I'm pretty sure anyone who has gone to a pet store has seen them. They're even at grocery stores... It's not like some secret that people aren't aware of. People without pets have seen them, as well... And I'm sure most pet owners who have given their pet a treat has probably seen the dental treats as they are like right next to each other... Just because people don't mention them doesn't mean people don't know about them...

Kibble is known for being notoriously nutritionally deficient and full of fillers. I'm not sure why you care so much that people want to feed their dogs human grade food.

i give my adult dog dentastix because her breath is rank

and given that she eats a lot of dry food compared to wet food, that makes sense because of the plaque buildup.

and my new pupper doesn't really need anything right now, he still has his stupid sharp baby teeth

i do find it strange that cats typically don't need to worry about that stuff, their breath smells like what i'd expect an animals to smell like, but it's not make you gag smell, and their teeth look great.
