All they need to do is put out some decently professional looking ad and include an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Once you try to opt out youre done for.

Thats all. Im gonna continue hoping this day never comes.

Thats illegal in Canada Im pretty sure. Companies have to provide a legitimate unsubscribe button at the bottom of all forms of communication, including e-mails. The law passed a few years ago because people were sick of getting junk-mail.

Actually according to the FTC 20-50yo are the most often scammed age group, followed by 80+, and 51-79 yo are the least falling prey to scams. lol probably because we "trust no one" to quoite the X-Files.

I never unsubscribe from anything at this point. I just mark stuff as spam and set my account to funnel any mail from that account in future directly into a spam folder that deletes itself periodically.
