Fallout 4 is probably the best Fallout Game. New Vegas is the worst (of the main 5. Haven't played 76, Tactics, Shelter, Brotherhood etc, they don't count)

FFIX is the best Final Fantasy and probably the best game ever made.

Raiden really wasn't that bad and Snake really wasn't that deep. MGS2 is the best MG game.

Mortal Kombat is better than Street Fighters

The GOW reboot was okay by itself but it's awful as a God of War game that just used the brand as a quick lazy effortless cash in rather than any passion or artistic purpose.

90s Sonic games are way better than 90s Mario games.

The PS2 is probably the best console. (Obviously PC doesn't count)

No one should ever pay for a mod. I love mods but they are fan made and loose as shit. They can fuck up games and not work with other mods. For free they are great additions but as a paid service they are nothing but harmful to the industry.

Nolan North is a good voice actor.

Aslyum is the best Arkham game. Less is more.

GTA5 is way better than San Andreas.

Sleeping Dogs is better than GTA5.

In regards to gaming, Japan's become a crap factory.
There hasn't been a great JRPG since 2005.
Bungie shouldn't ever do anything other than write netcode.
Walking simulator is a term for idiots, by idiots.
There are no good Metal Gear or Halo games.
Nintendo didn't save gaming, it made gaming dumber.
Blizzard can polish a turd. It's all they've ever done.

Final Fantasy VI and IX are the only great games in the series.

Left 4 Dead is the best Valve franchise.

Super Mario World is only an average Mario game.

The Switch is the best console from a gameplay perspective.

Mouse and keyboard is just not as comfortable as playing on a controller and the loss of fidelity is a small price to play with a controller instead.

Breath of the Wild is the best game ever made.

There's nothing wrong with loving annual sports games.

Every Arkham game had a great plot.

The three Ezio Assassin's Creed games represent the best trilogy in gaming history, but the series sucked before and since.

Also agree with Raiden not being that bad.

Anyway:

GameCube (and maybe even the Wii) > N64 (including multiplats)

BioShock is overrated

Morrowind is still the best Elder Scrolls game (probably not *that* controversial, but it does get a lot of flak for the dice-roll combat and other "archaic" elements)

Breath of the Wild ripped off Morrowind (I'm kidding, but there are superficial similarities)

Inventory Tetris (e.g. Diablo, Resident Evil) is cool

I actually like missables sometimes. It can be fun to find new things on repeat playthroughs, and obtaining missables can be a game in itself.

I'm scraping the barrel a bit now. I'll try and think of more.
