I have this mole on the back of my head under my hair that I can't see. It's relatively small, not really any bigger than a pencil erased. I feel like when I am bored I pick on it a lot, and in the past year once in awhile it will get swollen. Like the mole itself won't get bigger but there is a TON of swelling underneath it. It's almost like a big zit but I can't pop it and it is semi painful. I haven't noticed any blood but anyway usually I just make a point not to pick at it for a few days and then it basically goes back to normal.

The problem is I can't really see it so I can't tell if it is a weird color or if something is wrong with it. It would really suck if I had cancer, should I see a doctor or am I just freaking out over nothing?

Probably an infection or cellulitis from picking on it. But yes, I'd recommend seeing a skin doctor.
