I just started watching him like last year. Binged some old episodes on a crappy day. I guess he just speaks my language enough. I didn't like him when I just seen clips at first. But he talks about and shows stuff I enjoy seeing and hearing about...I guess it's that simple. I don't watch any type of review videos if I know Im gonna actually play the game tho. People have a much looser definition of spoilers than me. Which is fine as long as they don't put that shit in the title. He doesn't.

I like his reviews. Yeah, he gets a bit over the top with the skits, but I think he does a pretty good job of *summarising what makes the game actually fun to play, better than a lot of reviewers do. I feel like a lot of reviewers get lost in the weeds of giving you a technical break down of the pros and cons of the game, whereas joe is good at getting you hype as fuck for a good game while being fair about the criticism.

His movie reviews can almost match the run time of the actual movie when you add the non spoiler and spoiler one together. I like watching those when I come home from the movie and want to see if I missed stuff or someone has a similar theory. After talking to the people Im with of course. No one Im with usually watches stuff through the same lenses.

He does less game reviews now or has one of his friends do the reviews. Seems he is more focus on doing movie reviews now a days it seems. Either way the guy still makes me laugh every now and then.

Dude's been consistently in the Youtube game and is like the only other content creator besides Jim Sterling and YongYea to not bullshit about the industry's anti-consumer abuses. That's why he's still popular.
