So after April 2022. Nobody likes their single player games. Every other developer seems to be having a decent time with single player games. EA just doesn't make a good single player game often. The Show is a great series that fails so hard on the details, and it could definitely use a competitor. Personally, I don't have an interest in the new Star Wars but I am hoping it sells well enough. Otherwise, EA would go "See? We told you guys that people only want multiplayer games!". Star Wars is kind of a damaged brand nowadays so we will see.
