People complain about the multicolor bananas, and that is a pain in the ass one one hand, but on the other, most of them are used as breadcrumbs to lead you to character specific challenges. And most times you saw character specific items (like the muscle guys) youd be going through those areas again later anyway.

I dont recall too many areas that were like yeah you went out of your way to come to this far off nook in the middle of nowhere now fuck you go do it again as Lanky Kong
