I was watching Tudors and there was a scene where some guy was being interrogated about banging the queen and they had each of his limbs tied up and someone cranking a machine to pull the limbs more and more

Pretty sure all four limbs popped out of their sockets at one point

Schapism. Its an execution method, but it sounds horrific enough where i'd also categorize it as torture. Basically, they trap you between two boats, cover you and feed you a mixture of milk/honey which gives you diarreha. Then they leave you out in a stagnant pond and let bugs burrow into your body to feed on your insides.

According to wiki, one account of it took the guy 17 days to die.

[The king] decreed that Mithridates should be put to death in boats; which execution is after the following manner: Taking two boats framed exactly to fit and answer each other, they lay down in one of them the malefactor that suffers, upon his back; then, covering it with the other, and so setting them together that the head, hands, and feet of him are left outside, and the rest of his body lies shut up within, they offer him food, and if he refuse to eat it, they force him to do it by pricking his eyes; then, after he has eaten, they drench him with a mixture of milk and honey, pouring it not only into his mouth, but all over his face. They then keep his face continually turned towards the sun; and it becomes completely covered up and hidden by the multitude of flies that settle on it. And as within the boats he does what those that eat and drink must needs do, creeping things and vermin spring out of the corruption and rottenness of the excrement, and these entering into the bowels of him, his body is consumed. When the man is manifestly dead, the uppermost boat being taken off, they find his flesh devoured, and swarms of such noisome creatures preying upon and, as it were, growing to his inwards. In this way Mithridates, after suffering for seventeen days, at last expired.

If we're talking torture to kill, scaphism

If we're talking torture to get information, probably flaying or burning with metal rods and leaving them without anything to clean the wounds

Yeah, it's not very reliably attested to and seems almost too lurid and involved to be true.

Keel-hauling is something that is though.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keelhauling
Basically, you would be tied to a rope and then dragged beneath a ship(either width-wise or bow-to-stern, always beneath the keel). If it was done while the ship was stationary, you would probably suffer serious lacerations(ships are covered in marine life, including barnacles, beneath the water-line) and possibly get a nasty bump on your head if you hit the ship or its keel. If it was done slowly, you would drown. If the ship was in motion, you would basically be brutally ripped to shreds and be hoping you hit your head so you could die faster.

That thing pirates would do and tie someone to a rope, and pull them naked under the boat and let the underside barnacles grind up their body as they pulled them through the other side. Sometimes they did this 4-5 times before the person finally died from it.

goddamnit I came to post that

On a related note, the Navy could restrict Sailors at sea to a diet of bread and water as a form of punishment up until last year.
