Each one feels like they could be an actual board game. Nintendo should do that, they should recreate boards from Mario Party and make them their own board games. Just trying to think how minigames could work.

Looking at old boards, they could work as well, some of the more complex setpieces would have to be dialed down, but it could work.

The Super Mario Party boards are garbage. There are barely any interesting event squares on them and the layouts guarantee at least one person will never reach the star

Unfortunately, still just the initial boards. Really would have liked 5 boards at least, thought there would be some expansion to the game later on, sold extremely well, but no dice.

Hopefully, a sequel is in the works. In the GCN days, they were pumping these out and I still found them all enjoyable. My only issue was that boards were getting too gimmicky as time went on imo.
