Seven years between Cell and Majin Buu. It took this long for Vegeta to catch up to Gohan's Super Saiyan 2.

Was this the last somewhat reasonable power jump?

I doubt he even got as strong as prime ssj2 gohan lol, maybe majin version

I like how it takes a long time. Makes it that much more believable.

I'm against how Vegeta was suddenly SSJ3 tier in BoG. That made zero sense.

On one hand, Vegeta was older and less naturally gifted, so you'd expect a slower improvement. His biggest jumps came after the namek saga.

Also his training was not as high quality as Gohan's.
