RULES:
1. Vote for the character you like more. That's it.
2. Each user gets one vote per match (no alts). These are one-on-ones, after all.
3. Rounds last exactly 24 hours from the opening post and any votes thereafter will be disregarded.
4. A new match will be posted daily by Andy or Metalmind, with a break for Thanksgiving.
5. Each vote counts - the votes are what matters most. The match's winner will get bonus votes equal to 20% of the total votes in a match, rounded down. Both will get the bonus in a tie.
6. Characters will face off against every other character in their division once, with division champions (most total votes) moving on to the Finals and runners-up to the Wild Card. If there's a tie, the tiebreakers are 1) whoever has more wins and 2) average margin of victory.
7. The users who nominated each character will be kept hidden, as votes are for characters, not users. Users are forbidden from rallying, including posting additional propaganda that is not already in this opening post, as this can give their character an unfair advantage.

"Hello there, everyone! My name is Emma McCann, and Ill be your algebra teacher for the next year. You can call me Miss McCann. Now, I know you may have heard a few rumors about me, like that Im an evil necromancer, that Im from the dimension of evil, that I sacrifice my own students to my evil god Horvlax, the Devourer of Childrens Souls, or that I own a secret army of skeletons. I want to just get all of this out of the way right now: Horvlax is my coworker, not my god.

Now, lets move onto the syllabus."

- Emma McCann is a young woman who claims to be from Genegral, a blasted world of eternal death. According to her, Genegralns are sometimes sent to other planets to secretly harvest souls for their rituals of desecration she is one such harvester, and took a new name when she got to Earth.
- But she also happens to be very good at math and genuinely enjoys instructing children, so she got a job as a high school teacher. As a bonus, this lets her easily access kids whose souls she can sacrifice to Horvlax, her coworker.
- Like most Genegralns (if you take her word for it), shes compelled to cackle insanely and commit evil acts regardless of context, making her schemes not terribly difficult to uncover. Unfortunately, she cant be fired because she has tenure.

"Hey there, cutter, it's your deal. Who am I? Well, besides the guy who relieved you of that pot last hand, call me Ante. Just a debonair ne'er-do-well taking advantage of what Sigil has to offer. Bah, I'll fold this hand, 7-2 off-suit. My job? My my, at least buy me dinner first... a bit of this, a bit of that. Enough to make more at tables like this. However, I think I need to call it here for the day...

See, berk, I can be anyone. I can be anywhere. I could be the man smiling as he delivers your newspaper, the woman selling flowers on the street, your uncle you haven't seen in years. All the while I'll be watching, waiting, and when the time is right, you won't even see me strike. Don't take you for a mage, so like most Primes, you'll just be clueless. Stand down, and go home.

-Alignment: Neutral Evil
-Profession: Corporate espionage on behalf of the interplanar trade empire O.R.T. Recently reassigned to an adventuring party on the prime material plane.
-Specialties: Infiltration, illusions, disguises, diplomacy, probability manipulation
-Hobbies: Gambling, clothes shopping, hustling, absorbing other mages' spells, seducing women and taking pleasure in breaking their hearts afterward.
-The latter bit him in the ass, as the "scrumptious blonde elf" was actually a level 15 former adventurer -- and a yandere who just found her darling~. A kid is on the way, and he was forced to put a ring on it.
-Has a ready wardrobe of nine different shirt, vest, and tie combinations, plus four sets of cuff links and six pairs of shoes. His suit jackets and pants are made from illusory material so he can change their color to match his outfit.
-Kind of a bitch in a physical altercation.
-Ideal: "Only three things matter in life: Get paid; get laid; and lemonade."
