Has anyone been following TV deals?

Most or the doorbuster TVs are $200 pieces of crap.

Anyway I'm not wanting to go over $500. I really just want a crisper view than my almost 10 year old Toshiba LCD 1080p. My PC has an RX 580 that can take advantage of 4k in a lot of games but notching like a newer PC.

Also if I do this and GS comes out with a 'trade OG xbox towards One X' is that really worth it or should I wait until I build a new PC and the PS5 is out?

I'll advise against anything that says something like 240Hz just as a heads up. Only thing I've had to do is create ghosting issues for me in games like RDR2 and TOW.

XboneX is worth it if you play your Xbox a lot. Otherwise I'm not sure it's worth

What I'm gonna do is find the TVs on sale next week, look at them in person, and then get it when it is on the Black Friday sale.

A lot of places are already having good sales. It looks like I might get a bigger, better TV and then be able to Craigslist this old one and not even spend that much.

This LG at my sisters house is only 1080p and playing regular Xbox on it is so sharp. I'm looking at LG first then Samsung second.

What I've noticed in recent past black fridays is that they push the absolute shittiest TVs on deep discounts.

I would save yourself the headache and get something now. Even if it is further discounted you may only save another 50-100 while dealing with shitty crowds.

I have Amazon Prime. I was hoping they'd have something going on.

Even then I'm gonna do some research. I live in a place where black Friday crowds aren't that bad so for 50-100 it might be worth it

I've never been a fan of Black Friday sales. The last two TVs I've bought were from Best Buy taking advantage of their 2 year no interest financing sales. Sure, I could just buy it outright, but why? Pay less than my utilities/ month, get what I want, and it doesn't cost me any different.

They do put the balance on a credit card, but it is an actual card, not an in store only. If your credit is good, why not?

I got a 55" TCL a week or so ago and I'm very happy with it.

I paid $800 CAD for mine though.

Yeah the TCLs are pretty dope. I've been looking at those a lot.

I might stay with 42" because I've never had a problem with the size of my 42".

I already too many credit cards due to shit like this. I get 5% back if I use Amazon. Actually I have 2 Amazon cards. And 2 other credit cards. And a Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas card.
