But I don't participate in the CounterStrike community... I just play and win.

In anything, I don't like how competitive CSGO requires a Team, and that there's no SOLO or PUB competitive games at all

No, I play with other people... I just don't play ranked because there's no solo queue.

I like team games just fine, I just don't like structured teams. PUB only

Yeah some gaming communities can be pretty crappy. I went onto the re1 board after I finished it and was surprised to see everyone saying Jill was so much better than Chris and the gist of that reasoning was Jill had a bigger inventory and lower life didnt matter because if you interact with any zombies, youre bad.

I found out there are different configurations. I selected the "MMO" one because the keybinds are more reasonable and I can use WASD. I won my game prior as CM, but I messed up a few blink-ults.

The controls I use for dota are WASD for camera and 1234 for actions, but I also make gratuitous use of zxcv (for point-targted 1234 for example)

I switched back to WASD, using CM again and we won but I keep on messing up my blink + ult. This time I used Force Staff to do it and kept on messing up.

Going to switch to another Hero next idk. I kinda panic at the hero selection screen.

Anyways, my recommended heroes are Jakiro (free spell, can push towers, has one of the better CC skills and isn't ult-reliant), Underlord (great main skills, but can get bitched out for using ult wrong), Viper (good laning denial and harassment) and, of course, Axe (who never fails at anything)

Venge is kinda broken if you have good blink/force management since you can ward/deward a pylon, blink on top, and then netherswap an enemy on to the pylon.

Unless the other guy also has blink or is Pudge/Magnus/Earth Spirit or something... you can effectively keep one enemy player out of the fight. And if they try to escape by bringing in their courier, snipe the courier! (or better yet, only do it when the courier is already down)

I mean inventory management is huge in RE1 and only having 6 slots with Chris makes things way harder.
