I feel the same way. Considering his past behavior, I'm 100% convinced that he's doing it for the attention and is not actually trans.

Iirc the dad was just there (until he died) putting up with him and doing things like giving him rides when he asked. The mom was actively enabling his shitty behavior because she was a little batshit herself.

I don't think Chris Chan and Yaniv are really comparable. Chris Chan is severely mentally deficient, mentally ill, deluded, and prone to gullibility. So much that I believe trolls could convince her she was trans, whether it was true or not.

Yaniv, on the other hand, doesn't seem especially mentally deficient or mentally ill. On the contrary, she seems savvy enough that for a good while she was able to stall negative attention through abusing social media posting policies, connections in the tech industry, and the canadian legal system.

I don't think it was until Yaniv caught the attention of Kiwifarms, or perhaps Lindsey Shepard, that people really started talking about what a whacky degenerate she is.
