One episode per show each day.

I find this allows me to appreciate each episode more. This method allows the storyline to sink in. I have time to anticipate what will happen next. I feel like this allows me to take in more stories because I'm not burned out on a single franchise.

Current series in my rotation:
That 70's Show
Death Note
The Tick
Ranma 1/2
MTV's Scream
Atlanta
Yu Yu Hakusho
Better Call Saul
From Dusk Til Dawn

I usually will max out at three or four episode each day depending on mood.

I have to, especially if it's something that's current.

Too many spoilers.

I wish Netflix would just do weekly releases of shows they own like a regular television network.

I'm pretty good at avoiding spoilers. It's a lot easier than people make it seem.

Patience. I hardly ever discuss movies/shows until I'm finished experiencing them my way.

I'll usually take a break from a show between seasons. Then I'll add a show I haven't touched in awhile into the rotation.

Modern times are amazing. I get to plan out the tv schedule according to my plans. Is this what TiVo was like

All I'm saying is if Netflix uploads an entire season all at once and everyone but me binge watched it then I'm going to have to as well against what I want.

TC, I agree actually. Think about it, remember before streaming when everyone watch a TV show every week at the same time? And discussed all their theories about what is going to happen? And everyone looked forward to upcoming episodes and finales? Can't really replicate that with streaming.

It also all blends together if you watch 3 or 4 or 5 episodes in a row. I like to have the episodes feel distinct in my mind.

That said, I do binge watch Breaking Bad since everyone else already finished the show. Even then, maybe 3 episodes in a row.

ooooh man, do i have a story for you. those days aren't necessarily dead, and it's thanks to streaming.

so hey. brony here. the broniest thing i did was i made sure i never missed an episode premiere. didn't touch the fan stuff. just loved the show lots. thing is, people would stream them when they aired. the stream party is born.

it's exactly as fun as it sounds. piling into a chatroom every week with like a hundred or four hundred other people who are as dorky as you are about something.

eventually, episode leaks happened, and ruined all of that. if you didn't watch the leaks, you ran the risk of having them spoiled. your choices were watch them or avoid parts of the internet. but until then? we had our episodes dosed out as they intended, and it was perfect. i agree with you that binging sucks.

the best thing they ever did was split up a two-parter between weeks. they never went back to that, regrettably.

See I am not trying to rush to the finish. I feel that heavily detracts from the experience.

eh. i like not knowing what's going to happen beforehand. i got spoiled about GOT season 3 penultimate episode climax before it happened. it was still good, but i would have been floored if i had not known.
