The grossest thing Admiral ever said I seen was that falsely convicted people don't deserve any compensation unless they can prove that there was prosecutorial or investigative misconduct. Because if the state didn't do something "wrong", it shouldn't have to pay. Pretty sure it was about a guy who had spent like 12 or 20 years on death row or something like that.

My favorite was seeing the topic about the black boy trying to get to school and asking for directions door-to-door. Only to be shot at by a homeowner.

He was pretty adamant that child was casing places to rob and in no way was trying to get to school.

I remember that topic. Him and a bunch of morons were finding it hard to believe that a kid wouldn't know how to get to their school because they ride there all the time.

To the people defending him: if you paid any attention, it's 100 percent clear that dude HATED minorities, especially black people. As others said, you could 100 percent predict his opinion on anything even slightly controversial involving a black person or a Muslim or arab. He straight up defended explicit open racial profiling on the grounds that minorities deserve it. Along with many other heinous statements posted in this topic and ones that haven't even been brought up yet.

Today is a vindication for everyone who believed that moderators get treated differently from typical users. How many years has it been where it's been said a lead mod is often the authority and doesn't make mistakes and so on? But we saw the same behavior from Admiral, very different treatment depending on his mod status.

I can't comment on his beliefs, since I haven't seen them and I'm not familiar at all. But I will say that while he was a mod, he would give me the most complete answers to questions, second only to Krystal. Not to say that I agreed with all of them, but they were approachable.

I've long suspected that this was done to me in the past with warnings,1 day before the previous one clears another one shows up and so on. Nevertheless he persisted.

and the other part being all this over minor things. I can't speak for what happened here, but I can talk about how things have gone for me from personal experience. Why is it happening over minor things? Or things I don't even say, like I post in someone's topic and I get modded for someone else's topic title, or somebody asks what another politician said so I get moderated for answering the question when I link to the interview.

I follow the rules, but when the policy is that mods can take down anything at discretion, that's different. But "posting in somebody else's topic and I didn't like the title" is not a rule (topic's still up btw), so to have that on my account for 40 days and counting does not exactly change my opinions on how the queue is being handled.

If you want to talk about someone else please make another topic about that user.

He should do that and then he can ask me questions, or anyone, I'm very approachable and transparent. I'd be a good mod actually.

Now that I think about it.
I think I used to get into it a little in the WOT board, back when it was the War on Terrorism board back in the day. I say that, because I remember seeing his name in the sig, and thinking it was odd he was on CE.

I do thank the old WOT board though.
I learned not to get to into with people about politics...not just online but irl.
I've kept my mouth shut through many stupid conversations, and saved a lot of grief because of it, over the years.

I just find it funny that this isn't even important.

A 30 second perusal of this topic would tell you that he was a raging racist. Not like "oh he just says the occasional questionable thing" kind of racist, but the "minorities deserve every bad thing that happens to them because they are minorities" kind of racist.
