I got so many concussions I can't count as a big hitting hockey enforcer and MMA fighter. I used to think it was a good thing when I hit some poor schlub so hard that I would black out myself for a few seconds. I called it, "time travelling to the future of pain". Now I'm fucking terrified of CTE.

CTE is some serious business fam Yeah, even though the NFL moved away from celebrating big hits, I still find myself feeling really shitty when I see a guy take a helmet to helmet hit and be obviously affected. There are few things more terrifying in life than the after-effects of a concussion, no matter how tough you are you have no defenses and thinking about a top tier athlete going through the same thing makes me profoundly sad in a way few things can. --- All generalizations are false, including this one. ...
