In that regard, his appearance is inconsequential. He wasn't here to guarantee better places in Heaven for those who most look like him. Salvation is universal. In terms of historic accuracy, he probably had a darker complexion. The whole "Jesus looked Arab" thing is mostly just a bid to offend conservatives. And while I have no problem with offending bigots, I do take exception to using religion as a tool for offending people. If God is a woman, so what? That is, he came to attempt to persuade the jews to his cause before the gentiles. The way for the gentiles wasn't open till after he died.
