This person is a dangerous predator that has been known to prey on underage girls. I wouldn't dare to question whether a transgendered person is "truly" transgedered, but with Yaniv it's different. Transgenders are fighting an uphill battle for recognition and against discrimination and Yaniv saw an opportunity to hijack and piggyback those efforts for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with recognition and fighting against discrimination. that's not your call to make. if she says that she's trans, you have to accept that until she tells you otherwise. to do otherwise is to question us all. yes, it's possible she's lying for whatever reasons. but it's also possible that she's both trans and a predator. until we know she's lying, we have to accept her at her word, or else all of our identities can be called into question. and if she's not lying, she's done more than enough to damn herself through her actions. Being a shitty person (who happens to be trans) doesn't mean you get to be transphobic to her, just like being a shitty person (who happens to be *race*) doesn't mean you get to be racist to her, or sexist or et cetera.

I suspect the two of you don't want to acknowledge Yaniv as trans, because what she does makes trans people look bad. You'd rather legitimize accusations of "trans-trender", that is people who claim to be trans for attention, monetary gain, or other special treatment.

You can recognize Yaniv as trans, and there is currently no reason to really believe otherwise, and that she is a terrible, crazy person. There are plenty of transwomen out there who are also crazy or assholes.

I've been following shit about Yaniv since before her bullshit made it into the news. I first heard about her shit through kiwifarms over a year ago.

I know but it needs to be reiterated until it starts sinking in for everyone. I struggle with understanding transgender issues. But I'm trying. Long term I'm going to be a high school science teacher so I'm really trying to let go of my old biases and misunderstandings. There is no room for that line of thinking in such an important role. Also to be a better role model for my niece. She's going to grow up in a constantly changing world. She doesn't need her dumb uncle influencing her in bad ways.

Yaniv is actively working against this. They are not transgender. I refuse to believe that.

Yaniv, Blair White, and Caitlin Jenner are trans. They're also completely terrible for the community and sow the seeds of our destruction with their actions. Call them women, but also call them out on the harm they're doing.

And yes, post op transgender women need to see a gynaecologist on the same schedule as cis women, especially if they're sexually active. But pre or non op trans women? There's zero reason they'd see a doctor for the vagina they don't have. Heck, I have an intersex trans friend who has a not fully formed vagina that got sowed shut in infancy, and she doesn't have to see a gynaecologist and she never will because if there is ever an issue like cancer, they'd need to see a relevant specialist. :l

Yaniv is... Ugh. She's like the WBC, looking to create controversy then sue.

Yaniv isn't really suing. What she does is find businesses that refuse to serve her and then file human rights abuse claims against them. She doesn't have to pay for a lawyer or anything, because the state acts on her behalf.

The only fundraising Yaniv has done for herself that I know of off the top of my head is when she asked for money to run for Miss BC.

As for controversy, it depends on whether or not one believes transwomen have a right to get beauticians to wax their balls. Though she did lose that case.

Blair White has been accused of not actually being trans before and she's even made a video about it.

Now her opinions are shit, but she is unquestionably transgendered and it's wrong to accuse her of otherwise. Maybe people feel she's acting against transgendered issues but she is at least sincere and genuine.

Jessica is not Blair. While Jessica may have transitioned, there's a very strong possibility she did so to become a bad actor and not from any kind of gender identity disorders. It's not wrong to say that and it's important to understand why it's wrong to lump her in with Blair or Caitlyn.
