Few reasons.
It has terrible gameplay. Outside of the tools and one or two skills, it's literally just "r1, l1, dodge". And even then the tools are rarely used outside of some bosses. The skills can be basically summed up as "use ichjimochi". Stealth is pointless since once you get about 7-8 skill points, you can ignore most of the skills. The difficulty is all over the fucking place, but is broken once you realize that 99% of enemies have a set AI they won't break from. The only thing I did it did well is that From finally learned broken hit boxes and no scope 360 grabs do not make for a good game. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Had a feeling it'd win due to the ridiculous amount of praise the combat got. Even the reviewers panning it for being too hard were simultaneously were praising it for what it was trying to do most of the time.
I like it, think it's good it won, though even though I liked Sekiro more than RE2 I feel like RE2 deserved it a bit more. ... Copied to Clipboard!
