Ive seen both neck slices and theyre pretty bad. Im surprised they both survived tbh. Names are Clint Malarchuk and Richard Zednik. I watched Zedniks live and was pretty sure he wasnt going to make it. Malarchuks might have been worse. I think he got run completely over while Zednik got tapped by his teammates skate. Both are gushers so dont search them if you get queasy.

Those blades are sharp, and to be truthful, i am surprised we don't see it more often with players colliding into each other. Its good we dont, its scary when it happens.

That's one thing about hockey that's always surprised me. Same with not losing a finger or two. Seen enough fighting and players come skating in around the fight, especially when they're on the ground with their gloves off.

Triangular blades have only one corner. Square blades have two, for double the cutting power. Let us pray we never see an octagonal blade.
