Board 8 > Hallmark BACKTRACKS AGAIN and will REINSTATE LGBT Commercials!!!!

Hallmark Channel has backtracked once again and apologized to the LGBT community for kowtowing to the conservative christian right who threatened to BOYCOTT the network for displaying LGBT commercials just after its CEO said earlier they would consider supporting LGBT holiday movies!!

The fierce backlash from public outrage for agreeing to pull ads from Zola after they featured 2 lesbians getting married in one of its commercials

They announced that commercials from Zola will be reinstated just days after they were removed from a complaint from conservative group One Million Moms who vowed to boycott the network if they continued playing it claiming it was supposed to be "family friendly" and catering to SJW audiences to broaden the spectrum was not the right route and said adding these will no longer put the network family friendly for conservative audiences..

Hallmark Cards CEO Mike Perry said "The Crown Media team has been agonizing over this decision as we've seen the hurt it has unintentionally caused. Said simply, they believe this was the wrong decision. We are truly sorry for the hurt and disappointment this has caused"

The hashtag #BoycottHallmark was trending as Ellen Degeneres and William Shatner derailed the decision to pull it

GLAAD initially caused the decision tonedeaf and discriminatory and hypocritical of the network that claims to be family programming just after stating they are "open" to LGBTQ holiday movies

Zola also said they are cutting ties with the network after that decision and would no longer put ads with them

One Million Moms, part of the "American Family Association" said after the successful pulling "The call to our office gave us the opportunity to confirm the Hallmark Channel will continue to be safe and family friendly network"

Zola submitted 6 ads, 4 included a lesbian couple as Hallmark pulled those ads but kept the straight wedding comercials.

Mike Chi, the CEO of Zola said "The only difference between the commecials that were flagged and the ones that were approved was the commericals did not meet Hallmark's standards included a lesbian couple kissing. All kisses, couples and marriages are equal celebrations of love and we will no longer advertise on hallmark"

Hallmark said they will not work with GLAAD to better represents the LGBTQ community and reaching out to Zola to reestablish its partnership

The network is known to cater to CONSERVATIVE america has a lot of its movie doesn't shy from the fact that the majority of it's films are set in SMALL TOWNS. Although the network is apolitical, rural america loves the network because it doesn't feature any lgbt content or big city settings as many other networks have.

It was also slammed for not featuring enough minority cast members as the network has as of recent been featuring more minority actors including Holly Robinson Peete

It's not known how One Million Freaks will react to this news
