It mildly helps improve my mood, but it's nothing close to something like marijuana.

Honestly, if you are a expecting a high from it, you are going to be disappointed. I only low dose it, when i'm really down and it helps noticeably. It's not a "more is better" thing either, the more you take in my experience, the harder and shittier the crash is, and the benefit isn't worth the crash.
What I can say is with chronic shoulder pain, it eases it similar to taking 2 ibuprofen, without the long term liver damage from excessive use.
