I'll keep an open mind, but I did want this final trilogy to be the masterpiece I think it deserved to be. I suspect it's that internet culture of enjoying things/people failing. Splitting it up each time was a stupid fucking idea that just caused TLJ to exist and ruin anything passable from TFA. TFA was okay, it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. It was exactly what was needed after the terrible prequels. Something familiar and fun. Unfortunately, TLJ took everything that was set up and tossed it. Now, RoS seems to be tossing THAT out and going back again?
