I love Jackass but it might be weird. They're all 50 now, and I dont think they made another Jackass since Ryan Dunn died, so it would be a dark cloud over them. Plus Bam is still fucked up afaik

I don't want to watch a bunch of nearly 50 year old men sit in shopping carts and push themselves into walls. That worked for its time...its kind of past its time unless they really switch it up, but i still envision it being cringy like a youtube Prankster channel..."Hey guys, when these people walk by i'm gonna jump off my car head first into the concrete in front of them! Lets see how they react!"

....but who knows what they're planning for it so we'll see.

I mean yea but if its the same type of shit they were doing in the early 2000s it would just come off as an old hat. Like I said it would just remind me of a cringe YouTuber with a higher budget lol.

Ya that was at his rock bottom. He was huffing compressed air they use in baking equipment that comes in little whipped containers. He was also emailing every celebrity he knew to come see him jump out of his apartment and commit suicide. It was a cry for help. Knoxville got him committed against his will to a mental facility then he got booked off to rehab and I believe hes been sober ever since. He credits Knoxville with saving his life

I love Jackass and all its associated shows (I watched Viva la Bam constantly as a teen), but the idea of a new one is just painful.

Knoxville did a movie... last year? Called "Action Point" and it was just horrific to watch him do the stunts in the movie. He did an interview on The Daily Show where he talked about how one of the stunts just shattered the bones around his eye socket. He had to wear an eye patch and, on one occasion, push his eyeball back into the socket when it popped out after he sneezed.

I just can't enjoy watching it knowing how badly it fucks these guys up now. Plus, as others have mentioned, Steve-O is sober, and Bam is (or was) in rehab. I can still go back and enjoy the old stuff because they were all relatively young. There's no fun in watching a fifty year old get hurt.

Really mixed on this one.

I like Jackass just because they never really hurt anyone (unlike 90% of the unfunny piece of shit "pranksters" on YouTube who just harass people for the likes and subs), and I don't think their age would normally be an issue but I think they had some serious issues after the original run of the show/the movies and I don't know how they are any more.

Plus I can't believe it's been 20 years jfc.
