And when is that explained? Do they explain how they got away? Do they explain how nobody noticed Chewie getting arrested despite happening only a short distance away? Do they explain why none of the stormtroopers went up to the ship that was plainly visible and starting its engines? Do they explain how nobody noticed the other transports and so instantly assumed the one was what held it? Do they explain how Rey couldn't sense chewie aboard that transport, despite just a few minutes later sensing him on a different ship from a further distance?

That was only one example. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but I highly doubt it, and even if I'm wrong there it doesn't change the other massive issues with the movie.

It's explained during a conversation /fight between the two. They don't notice Chewey being arrested because they're watching Rei. She wasn't sensing Chewey because she had just lost control of her power and was under extreme emotional stress.
