AT&T's best service is 18 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up or some crap like that. I hate AT&T any way... So I signed up for Spectrum

They give me the router any way and try to charge me for it. They charge me $9.99 as a "self-install fee." The coax line in the bedroom wasn't activated, so they had to send a tech out any way.

*Sigh*

Returned the router yesterday and got my own Eero wifi mesh system

$5/month wifi charge still on my bill today... glad I called to check

In San Antonio, they've had a hard time expanding Google Fiber because of the duopoly between Spectrum and AT&T in most of the town

with all the money and influence Google has they should have no problem expanding to bigger areas and taking advantage of the others with monopolies.....I just want Fiber over Comcast :(

Fiber was like, the best idea Google had ever and these cock sucking money grubbing POS ISPs didn't like that.

Amusingly, I started getting mail from CenturyLink a few months ago advertising their own fiber internet service, but I ain't getting fooled by that.

My mom started paying for my dads Spectrum plan when he died. Then, after a year of paying for it with her own card, she tried to cancel it because she was moving and they said they needed to see his death certificate to cancel LMAO. And they were pretty shitty and stubborn about it.

Changed their tune lickety-split after my mom called the state about it though.
