It's the right gimmick at the right time, plus he has a strangely magnetic level of presence - even when he's just hanging around at ringside your eyes are drawn to him. That's the intangible quality that separates people who are stars from people who don't make it.

Sonny Kiss has a better gimmick IMO but Orange Cassidy is probably my favorite comedy wrestler. I'm glad AEW focused on signing him instead of Joey Ryan.
