Sometimes they hate you for quitting too. I used to habe a job i despised. Boss said this is your job and if you don't like it then quit. So i quit. Then she's pissed that i was walking out the door. There's no winning lol

Nope if someone buys a product or service they literally have the rights of thanos with the infinity stones.

But seriously people forget its not just in retail. Working a reno with the homeowners there they frequently want and expect to be able to get you to do other random shit they didnt pay for.

I did a job putting an elevator in for a guy whod lost his legs in a workplace accident and the wife was always home and she was certain she was also entitle to new flooring and trim and baseboard in the whole house.

I couldnt tell her to fuck off but i told her ten times wcb wasnt paying for that and to call my boss if she wanted that done. But she insisted she already had the materials so it was magically covered.

And that was hours a day for weeks.

Not really, bankruptcy isnt the end of the world, especially if your young(-26), broke and dont own s*** anyways. Which is very likely the case if you couldnt afford any healthcare in the first place.

Or....you could just try ignoring it. And hope the hospital wont bother sueing you for the money you clearly dont have and write it off eventually or sell it to collections where you do the same.

I mean, are people expecting scenarios from the show 'cant pay, we're take it away' or something?

Best-case scenario, ignoring medical debt as an unemployed person will screw your credit and hurt your chances for any position with an employer that runs a credit check on you.

Then explain your predicament. I think they'd understand why a unemployed man couldnt pay off his debt for heart surgery or some s***.
