Not a single day felt like a day off to relax, even after I lined up a new job and was simply waiting to start. Penny pinching, making sure I could cover rent and bills, cutting out virtually all social life aspect and just being a shut in so I could make it. It was a really, really toxic place to work for and I got fired for a ridiculously asinine reason but it happens. Honestly dude if you don't have the patience to even roll with the most insane customers, retail/food service isn't for you. I view those jobs with a level of disassociation and absurd humor.
