The only negative about a legal change is the administrative red tape on your end that has to happen (updating all stuff that used the old name gotta get updated). --- We're surrounding you. You need to prove that you've used it in all aspects of your life for 5+ years or that you are a victim of harassment or bullying because of your name. It's a tall order. I had to do it for a client at work and it wasn't easy at all. That sucks.
