Like damn people on there talking about being High Libido with a Low Libido spouse.
Posts like

"We had sex 3 times since July 2019.
"Married 4 years he complains sex is dumb"
"Wife tells me to snuggle with her naked in bed but to not get any ideas... she gives me a bj once every 2 months and I can tell she hates it."
"My wife is just a person living with me for 8 years but relationship is like a distant acquaintance."\

Holy shit I'm never getting married if that kills the sex fuck that.

It seems like almost every aspect of marriage is a fucking mess. There is no real benefit worth the risk and shit you put yourself through.

From what I hear its these 2 things which get people to commit.

joint income that is cool when both work jobs and live in the same house.
Living with someone that is your best personal 'friend' always around that loves you and cares about you the same amount as you do them.

there was a time where my fiancee was really stressed out with work and life, which killed her libido and we stopped having sex.

so, i did what any warm-blooded man would do in this situation.

i expressed to her that i was worried about her and how its affecting our relationship because i can see what her high stress levels are doing to us. we talked about this for like 3 hours before finally working it out. now our relationship is better than ever.

yeah there are a lot of scary posts about that on there too.

"Wife and me had sex all the time 5 years ago but now since baby was born she is distant."
"11 months no sex after pregnancy, wife vagina was torn and needed surgery."
"after birthing my kids husband no longer wants to touch me."

Like I Can't even imagine the thought of living with someone like your stuck to them but no more emotional connection? Its just becomes a casual relationship???

That is some scary stuff.

Yeah, I'd never want to get married. I've heard too many stories of guys getting screwed and losing everything. I mean, we can be together but marriage? Nah.

On a real note. Not doing something because of the worst case scenario is a very dumb way to live

Our lives are tide to money. That's going to stress any relationship out if both don't share similar priorities. And since the last 100 years has shown a massive growth in individualism I doubt it's going to get any better. People used to to work together. Now it's can you and I relate and will I like the things about you and how much Commonality do we have. Friendship is another desire in the relationship, again that individual looking for something special for them. It's all very self destructive and soo many intelligent people are trying to figure why this is the case and most of the time evidence points out that it's linked to cultures of our societies today. Which for the majority is capitilism.

That and r/relationships never cease to amaze me with how much misery people are willing to tolerate when the alternative is being single. It's not being alone that scares them, because they're already experiencing that on a day to day basis.

My wife and I have been married 5 years now and we had sex probably close to 120 times last year and that includes no sex for an 8 week period after she had surgery. So not all marriages are like that.

My sex life isn't too active, my partner is disabled and housebound (on the worst days she can't sit up at all) but we're very close and romantic and affectionate with each other so it doesn't worry me at all. I know if she was feeling up to it we'd do more together and I'm happy to do what I can for her even if she's not up for reciprocating. I've had relationships where sex became rare because of drifting apart and that sucks but this is very different. We've both got high libidos it's just not possible a lot of the time.
